Technical Advisor for Media: Mr. Prak Samphose

       Dr. Prak Samphose is a seasoned media professional, academic, and researcher with more than two decades of experience in journalism, communication, education, and Buddhist philosophy. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Philosophy, (MCU/Thailand) a Master of Arts in English Language Teaching (TESOL), and a Master of Arts in Political Science (Cambodia). His diverse academic background and extensive practical experience have made him a respected figure in Cambodia’s media and education sectors.
      Dr. Samphose currently serves as Head of International News and International News Translation for CNC/CBS television stations, where he oversees global news coverage, translation, and analysis. Over the past twenty years, he has held senior roles in several national television networks, contributing as a producer, host, analyst, and translator. His professional expertise centers on international journalism, ethical reporting, and strategic communication, helping to elevate the quality and credibility of Cambodia’s media landscape.
       Beyond his media career, Dr. Samphose is deeply engaged in academia. He has lectured at multiple higher education institutions, teaching Philosophy, Buddhist Studies, Behavioral Development, English Literature, and Global Affairs. His work as an educator reflects his commitment to fostering critical thinking, moral values, and intercultural understanding among students.
       Dr. Samphose is also active in academic research and international collaboration. He serves as an International Reviewer for the International Journal of Sociologies and Anthropologies Science Reviews (IJSASR) at Maha Sarakham University, Thailand, a Review Board Member for research publications at Maharajabhat University, Thailand, and a Reviewer for the AU Journal of Entrepreneurship and Green Innovation at Angkor University, Cambodia. His involvement in these academic networks demonstrates his dedication to promoting scholarly excellence and regional academic cooperation.
           In recognition of his contributions to national development and education, Mr. Samphose has received several honors, including the Labor Medal (Bronze Class) in 2008 and the Monisaraphon Medal (Thibdin Class) in 2020.
