Who we are? What we do?

Our history

The PUHTI Social Development Organization was established on Thursday, 3 Rouch, the month of Bos, the year of the Rat, the Buddhist Era 2565, corresponding to January 20, 2022, by Letter No. 297 of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia, through the development of the Moral Education, Buddhism and Society Program, which was created by former Buddhist students of Prey Veng High School, recognized by the Department of Cults and Religion and the Department of Youth Education and Sports of Prey Veng Province on November 10, 2005. The reasons for the creation of the Moral Education, Buddhism and Society Program are as follows:

  •  In 2004, seeing the difficulties of poor children and youth in the outskirts of Prey Veng Province, who did not have the funds to pay for foreign language lessons according to the requirements of public schools and private sector jobs.
  • Provide teaching skills to students
  • Educate and promote social ethics to become the backbone of families, communities and national society

Progress and results of the program from 2005 to 2015 in Prey Veng provincial town

  • 3 founders (former monks: Bhikkhu Pum Sineoun, Bhikkhu Keo Rattanak, Bhikkhu Koy Chamroeun) up to 100/person per year
