Operations Manager: Ms. Sun Thavy

        Ms. Sun Thavy is an experienced operations manager with a strong background in social development, program management, and organizational support. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and has completed extensive professional training in Positive Parenting, Counselling Skills, Social Work Practice, Business Development, Leadership, Stress Management, Trauma Care, Communication Skills, and Self-Confidence.

         She has nearly 10 years of experience with national and international organizations, managing multi-sectoral programs in areas such as education for children and youth, community economic development, gender equality, women’s and children’s rights, migration, child protection, and support for victims of human trafficking. Her work also includes psychological counselling, economic empowerment, and social governance.

        In addition, Ms. Thavy brings 8 years of private sector experience in research, business and social development, human resource management, recruitment, and training delivery. She has organized and facilitated workshops on Relationship Skills, Self-Confidence, and Leadership for companies and organizations in Cambodia. Currently, she leads initiatives in economic empowerment and career counselling for victims of human trafficking, supporting their sustainable reintegration and independence.

           As Operations Manager, Ms. Thavy oversees day-to-day organizational operations, ensuring that all program activities are delivered with professional standards, quality, transparency, and efficiency. She liaises and builds strong partnerships with stakeholders, coordinating training programs and services to strengthen collaboration and impact. She works closely with senior management to ensure teams are well-supported, motivated, and equipped to provide high-quality services to beneficiaries, including students, parents, and community members.

         Ms. Thavy leverages her extensive operational, programmatic, and management experience to enhance organizational performance, optimize workflows, and ensure that programs achieve measurable outcomes while maintaining ethical and professional standards.
