Mr. Vek Sam Oun is a seasoned program manager with a unique blend of Buddhist education, youth development, and business leadership experience. He spent 12 years as a Buddhist monk and graduated from Bakdup Pali School. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and Management and has completed additional professional training in business success, sales skills, operations, social media, and youth participation in democracy.
For over a decade, Mr. Sam Oun has provided informal education and training to Buddhist children and youth, fostering ethical values, leadership, and personal development. Parallel to this, he has accumulated more than 10 years of experience in sales and business marketing, with a strong focus on social media and digital outreach.
As Program Manager, he has led the planning, coordination, and implementation of programs to ensure efficient, effective, and high-impact delivery. Leveraging nearly 20 years of professional experience, he guides staff in achieving organizational objectives, strengthens program operations, and ensures alignment with organizational vision and goals.
His expertise includes policy formulation, project design and execution, staff capacity building, fundraising support, dispute resolution, and strategic planning. He has a strong record of leading program activities with transparency, accountability, and results-oriented management, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and achieve intended outcomes.
